Saturday,
04 August 2007:
In June my husband and I were
fortunate enough to be able to spend a week on Kauai (sorry I missed
you, LaVerne - we were every minute on the go!), and I
scoured that island looking for Hawaiian quilts. What I found, sadly,
were items of very poor quality at ridiculously high prices. Emma, your
quilts absolutely SHINE by comparison to what I found on Kauai!
Secondly, my
quilt had become a bit soiled, so last week I simply washed and dried
it right here at home in my machines. Beautiful! No shrinkage, no color fading or bleeding, just a
nice, clean, fresh quilt!
Emma, again,
I thank you so much for my quilt and toss pillows. I feast my
eyes on them daily, and pray for you and your master quilters when I do.
God bless
you and your family. Keep up the good work!
Love,

Good morning,
Miss Emma:
The quilt and
shams and toss pillows arrived yesterday and are
more beautiful than I could have imagined! My husband and I
are both
thrilled with them, and I can't thank you enough!
The
workmanship is flawless, the stitches are fine and even, the
colors are very true to those in the photos on your website, and I
couldn't be more pleased. Thank you from the bottom of my
heart!
Emma,
ordering from your website was a big step for me, because it
meant sending a great deal of money off to a foreign country with
really no binding agreement. Just an email
acknowledgement. It
represented risk for me, and I work very hard for my money (as do we
all, I'm sure). But what I want you (and anyone you'd like to
share
this with) to know is that I am thrilled that I took the
risk. I now
know you to be a person of integrity and responsibility. Your
master
quilters are amazing craftsmen and women, and I applaud you for giving
them the opportunity to earn money to rebuild their villages.
This way
is so much better than the welfare system of the US government, which
teaches the recipients nothing except to hold out their hands looking
for more.
Anyway,
I don't mean to go off on a political statement here, but
I do want you to know how thrilled and pleased I am with all my goodies
from the wonderful folks of the Philippines! I will treasure
them and
pass them on to my children some day. I continue to tell my
friends
and family about your website, Emma, so hopefully we can drum up more
business for you.
Many,
many thanks my friend. Mahalo nui loa.
Warmest
regards,
Bonni

Hi

The quilts are breathtaking! We are both so pleased! Thanks so
very
much for all the hard work and love that went into them! I am
picking
out my next one, since I think I would like one for summer, one
for
winter right? :)
We are over the moon!

Aloha Emma,
The quilt is gorgeous!!! LaVerne delivered it yesterday. She took
pictures. I will take some pictures, too, when we get the
pillow
inserts so it looks right, and send you one. Mahalo for your careful
attention to detail, and the lovely finished product! We love it! We
will probably have you do another one at some time in the future.
God bless you!
Aloha nui loa,
